Reporter:

Welcome to wonderful Baldju Interviews! I am a reporter, Minju Ju.
Today I will interview David McClean, a psychologist, about the Hadley family and the children’s virtual nursery!
Hi Mr. McClean. Could you please begin by introducing yourself?

David McClean:

Hi, my name is David McClean. I am a psychologist and I am glad to meet you.

Reporter:

Thank you. So, how did you meet the Hadleys?

David McClean:

Um George and Lydia, they wanted me to look at the nursery, so I did.
When I met them that day, they seemed very concerned about the nursery and kids.

Reporter:

How was the nursery when you had a look at it?

David McClean:

It wasn’t pleasant. In fact, it was very bad. I have a nose for something bad.

Reporter:

What did you advise them to do?

David McClean:

Oh, I told them to demolish the entire damn room.
Also, to have their children brought to me every day during the next year for treatment.

Reporter:

I'd like to learn more about the nursery.

David McClean:

The nursery is a room where the children’s emotions and thoughts are displayed.
Also, in that room, we can see what children are imagining.

Reporter:

Was there some problem with Wendy and Peter’s nursery? What was a problem with their nursery?

David McClean:

Yes, there was a problem. So originally, the use of these nurseries was so that we could study the patterns left on the walls by the child's mind and help the child.
However, Wendy and Peter’s nursery was a channel toward destructive impulses rather than a release away from them.

Reporter:

What did the children see the nursery as? What role did the nursery play in their lives?

David McClean:

These children were addicted to the technologies in the house because they grew up using technology often.
As a result, they acted like the nursery was their parents.
In addition, children valued the nursery way more than their biological parents.
Therefore, when their parents tried to shut down the nursery, the children hated it and threw a tantrum because the nursery was everything to them.

Reporter:

Thank you for your time and for responding to these inquiries, Mr.McClean.
The Baldju interviews will be back soon with more entertaining and informative interviews!
